Sóller centre
The heart of town around Plaça de sa Constitució, the church of Sant Bartomeu, the market and the old railway station.
The transfer from PMI to Sóller covers about 31 km and normally takes 30–35 minutes. The road crosses the Serra de Tramuntana on the Ma-11 and ends in a valley where Sóller town, Son Angelats, Biniaraix and Port de Sóller are not the same drop-off, which is why your Zonetransfers driver works from the exact address.
Updated:
Sóller is cut off from Palma by the Serra de Tramuntana. The usual route from the airport takes the Ma-11 and goes through the Sóller tunnel before dropping into the valley.
Although Sóller is closer to PMI in kilometres than Alcudia, Cala Millor or Porto Cristo, the mountains give this trip a completely different shape.
The tunnel is part of the Ma-11 between Palma and Sóller and avoids the old mountain road over the Coll de Sóller.
Like any mountain infrastructure, the tunnel can have maintenance or occasional traffic control. For a return transfer with a flight to catch, do not plan the pick-up on the shortest possible drive time.
About 4 km. Sóller sits inland in the valley known as the Vall d'Or, while Port de Sóller is on the coast, roughly 4.1 km further on from the town centre.

If you are staying in Port de Sóller, say so clearly when booking. Writing only "Sóller" leaves the last stretch to the coast undefined.
The town is not one single spot. Coming off the Ma-11 you reach the south side first, then the centre, the north side and Son Angelats, before the road carries on down to the port.

Two hotels in the same municipality show the difference between staying in the valley and staying by the sea.
At Carrer Romaguera 18, 07100 Sóller: in town, with no need to continue to the port.
At Calle Bélgica s/n, 07108 Port de Sóller, above the harbour and several kilometres beyond Sóller town.
Many stays sit outside the town; for these, give the full address rather than just "Sóller".

End of the wooden train that has climbed over from Palma since 1912 and start of the tram to the port: a classic day out during your stay.
Sóller's mild microclimate has long favoured citrus growing, the valley's trademark.
