"Company", "we", "our", "our" refers to the company C_A_R_M_A_N W_O_R_L_D S_L, a Limited Company governed by current Spanish legislation and registered in the M_u_r_c_i_a Mercantile Register, Volume 3428, Folio 176, 1st entry, page MU-101152 and with the CIF B_0_5_5_6_0_0_3_2. "Client" is the person who pays the amount of the reservation.
"Passengers" refers to all passengers included in the reservation whether they are expressly named or not.
"Reservation Holder" means the first passenger listed in the reservation.
"You", "your", "you" refers to the client, including all passengers (or any of them as the case may be) that appear in the reservation.
"The transportation operator" means the provider of professional transportation services who will provide the transfer.
"Reservation" means the booking of transportation services with us.
"Transportation Service" means any service provided by us for the carriage of Passengers by road and includes any other service provided by us in connection with or arising from that carriage.
"Booking Voucher", "Transfer Voucher", "Voucher" means the written confirmation of the booking sent by us to you by email.
"Contract" means the reservation, these General Conditions and any other conditions applicable to the reservation.
"Conditions" refers to these General Conditions.
"Website", "Websites" refers to www.zonetransfers.com and any other website owned or operated by us.
2. WHO WE ARE
We provide transport management services for both individuals and groups. We operate under the brand name "Zonetransfers.com" which is our exclusive property. Our business name is C_a_l_l_e M_a_d_r_e d_e_D_i_o_s,2, M_u_r_c_i_a, Spain.
For commercial purposes we have the phone number +34 665 26 44 51, and we operate through the website www.zonetransfers.com and email email@example.com. Please refer to the "CONTACT" section of our website for other local telephone numbers. In order to provide our services we work with transport operators who provide professional transport services for the transfer of passengers, or who act as an agency with legal capacity to offer transport services and who are in possession of all the necessary licences and permits according to the legislation applicable to each of them for the performance of this activity.
The transport service will not be considered in any case as a tourist package in the terms established by the Council Directive 90/314/EEC, of 13 June 1990, nor in the terms of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, and the law 34/2002 that approves the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users as well as other complementary laws, and therefore the company does not operate in any case as a travel agency.
Through its websites, C_A_R_M_A_N W_O_R_L_D S_L offers transport management services for both individuals and groups.
Before requesting a service offered on our website make sure you have read and understood these General Conditions, as they will govern any subsequent contract. By making a reservation you confirm that you have read these Conditions and that you have the legal capacity to accept them on your own behalf and on behalf of all passengers. If you have any doubts about any of the contractual conditions, please contact our Customer Service before continuing with the booking process. If you do not agree with any of the obligations arising from these Conditions, you should unfortunately not make any reservations with us.
3. ONLINE BOOKING PROCEDURE
The person making the reservation must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for following all steps of the online reservation system, ensuring that all information provided is correct and complete and making payment in full. Once the contract with C_A_R_M_A_N W_O_R_L_D S_L is formalized, the company will make all the necessary arrangements to organize the requested services.
The contract will be binding on the parties only when you receive your transfer voucher by email. In the event that the transport operator cannot provide the requested service, the customer will be informed and the total amount will be refunded using the same system used for payment, leaving the company free of any other obligation to the customer.
The customer must confirm receipt of our notifications. In the case of not receiving confirmation of receipt of the email, the records stored in our mail server will be considered sufficient proof of receipt.
Our message confirming receipts and payments made by the customer shall not be considered
We accept all major payment methods, such as credit cards (American Express, MasterCard/Diners International, Visa), debit cards (Visa/Delta, Visa/Electron), bank transfer and PayPal. The use of PayPal is only possible for bookings with a minimum amount and the customer assumes the corresponding commission or administration costs.
The charge will be made in Euros and the exchange rate query tools are provided for information purposes only.
4.1 BANK CHARGES FOR PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD AND BANK TRANSFER
The customer bears the corresponding commission or administration costs:
- Payment by debit/credit card member of the European Economic Union: + 1 % bank fee
- Payment by debit/credit card not member of the European Economic Union: + 2.75 % bank fee
- Payment by corporate debit/credit card: + 2.5 % bank fee
- Bank transfers within the European Economic Union: no fees
- Bank transfers outside the European Economic Union: + 18 euros bank fee
The information contained in the transfer voucher includes the reserved destination, pick-up point and address of the accommodation. Any change affecting this or other data must be communicated by email to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the date of service provision, and will only be considered effective once it has been checked with the transport operator and confirmed to the customer by email.
The customer assumes any increase in the cost of the service due to a change in the reservation. The first change will not entail additional administration costs. Beyond this first change the company may charge 15 ? of administration costs for each additional change. No refunds will be given for changes made in less than 48 hours. Once the contract has been formalized, the customer must notify our Customer Service Department of any errors detected at least 48 hours before the corresponding transfer service. Notifications received with less than 48 hours notice regarding the transfer service will entitle the company to cancel the contract without any penalty.
6. CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT
Any cancellation of the contract must be made in writing by email to our Customer Service Department at email@example.com. Both individual transfer services and a complete booking including more than one service can be cancelled.
If your cancellation request is received, the following policy will be followed:
Distance booking (transfers).
Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the trip for cars and Minivans in Spain (mainland / peninsula), including for the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands (notice of cancellation more than 48 hours before the start of the trip).
Cancellations in Spain (peninsula) less than 48 hours before the start of the trip for cars and Minivans, will not be refunded, because the transport operator who performs the service, booked on that date and time of the contracted service a vacancy for the realization of its service, rejecting other services and reservations of other customers, thus generating the corresponding loss or preparation costs that have already been executed.
For the rest of Europe, cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the trip, for cars and minivans (France, Portugal, Germany, Croatia, Austria, Holland, Italy, Greece, Belgium, England, Macedonia, etc...). With less than 48 hours notice of cancellation you will not be entitled to a refund of your booking.
Canary Islands and Balearic Islands: Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before the start of the trip for any type of vehicle (except minibuses and buses that will be with a cancellation notice of more than 72 hours), where a refund can be requested. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the start of the trip for any type of vehicle, will not be reimbursed, because the transport operator that performs the service, reserved on that date and time of the contracted service a vacancy for the realization of its service, rejecting other services and reservations of other clients, thus generating the corresponding loss or preparation expenses that have already been executed.
For minibuses and buses in Spain (peninsula), Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, cancellations are free with a cancellation notice of more than 72 hours after the service occurs. Cancellations less than 72 hours before the start of the trip for minibus and bus vehicles will not be reimbursed.
100% of the original price of the trip is charged in case of a cancellation after the start of the trip or if the traveler does not show up. (not show by the traveler).
Reservation of hours (provisions for hours of the vehicle with driver)
Cancellations are free up to 72 hours before the start of the trip and will have the right to a 100% refund of your reservation.
Less than 72 hours before the start of the trip, they will not be reimbursed.
100% of the original price of the trip is charged in case of a cancellation after the start of the trip or if the traveler does not show up.
In this case, we will send you an email with the confirmation of the cancellation so that you can use it to claim the amount from your tour operator, airline or insurance company.
Bus and minibus cancellations in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands
The customer is responsible for the cancellation of the transport contract. In this case, the damages paid to the carrier are as follows:

7. LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS
Depending on the route and time of year, our free sale period ranges from 0 to 48 hours (or more in some particular cases) before the start of the transfer service. If the website indicates so, please TALK TO US 24/7 so that we can check availability for the type of transfer you are requesting. Please note that our cancellation policy will apply regardless of the date and time of the booking.
8. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY US
If the transport operator is forced to make any significant change in the conditions of service, or to cancel the service, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will do our best to respect your preferences about the chosen vehicle; however the vehicle may be replaced by a larger capacity or multiple vehicles depending on availability. If the change involves a reduction in the category or size of the vehicle for which we have a lower rate, the price difference will be refunded to you. The vehicles can be replaced by others of greater range depending on availability.
In extraordinary cases we may have to cancel your reservation. You will be refunded the full amount of the booking and this refund will cover all obligations towards the customer arising from such a cancellation. In any case, we will make the necessary efforts to find alternatives via
9. CHILD SEATS
Local and national legislation may vary depending on the country in which the shipment is made. However, all our transport operators comply with current legislation. If you book a private transfer we recommend that for safety reasons you use a lift or baby seat for passengers under 12 years of age or with a height of less than 135 cm. During the booking process you will have the opportunity to reserve child seats or lifts in most destinations, and in some cases at an additional cost, such as on the island of Menorca. We do not include in the booking process of our website the possibility of reserving a group 0 child seat (maxicosi). This type of child seat group 0 (maxicosi) will have to be requested to us by phone or by email, and may be available for use after your request and our verification response, subject to availability.
It is the responsibility of the booking holder to check that the restraint system is compatible with the vehicle and is correctly fitted. The company will not be liable for any incidents arising from misuse, or incorrect installation of the restraint system.
If you wish to travel with your own baby seat or booster and you have booked a private transfer, you must inform us of this circumstance before starting your journey. We must ensure that the vehicle used by the transport operator is compatible with the seat. For group services, minibuses or coaches are mostly used and child seats cannot be used in these vehicles.
We will do our best to ensure that the transport operator offers the seat or booster when it has been booked. There may be occasions when the reserved seat is not available. In such cases, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the reserved seat. If no seat is available, children over the age of three must use a seat belt. Children under three years of age may travel without a restraint system but must be placed in the rear seats of the vehicle.
10. CHILD FARES
All children and babies, regardless of their age, will be taken into account in determining the capacity of the vehicle to be used, and therefore must be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking.
11. WHEELCHAIRS AND RESERVATIONS FOR PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Transfer services for people with reduced mobility must be requested through our Customer Service. We will do our best to accommodate your request even though we are not specialists in transporting passengers with reduced mobility. Passengers with reduced mobility must be able to access the vehicle autonomously or with the assistance of one of their companions. We can only accept folding wheelchairs. We regret that we cannot guarantee the type of vehicle to be used for your transfer.
12. RESERVATION OF ADDITIONAL STOP
During the booking process you will have the possibility to book an additional stopover in case you need to pick up or return a few keys or if your group is spread over more than one accommodation. The address of the additional stop must be located at the same destination as the main stop. The maximum duration of this additional stop will be 5 minutes, and it has a cost of 13 euros for each stop within the same location.
13. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance appropriate to your needs. Please read the contract carefully and print out the documentation so that you can take it with you when you travel. Proper travel insurance will protect you against a number of risks that are beyond our control.
14. OUR RESPONSIBILITY
In the event of a breach of these conditions we shall be liable only for such damages as are attributable to our breach or negligence, and at most for the total amount paid by you. We are not liable for damages that are not directly attributable to us or for damages that are caused by accident, force majeure or are due to legal or administrative requirements.
We are not liable for incidents occurring during the provision of the service, in particular illness, personal injury or death, unless they are a direct result of our negligence.
This means that, in accordance with these conditions, we may accept liability if, for example, the passenger dies or suffers personal injury or if the transfer service is not provided as contracted or is provided inadequately as a result of our incapacity or the inability of our employees or the inability of our transport operators to provide the transport service you contracted using reasonable knowledge and professionalism. Please note that it is your responsibility to demonstrate such lack of knowledge and professionalism if you wish to make a claim against the company.
In addition, we will only be liable for what our employees and transport operators do or fail to do while acting within the scope of their professional duties (for employees) or performing the work we have requested of them (for transport operators).
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes: a. our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. b. any other rights which you have as a consumer and user and which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
We are completely exempt from any liability in the event that the customer contracts directly with the transport operator for a service.
We cannot guarantee one hundred percent accuracy of the contents of this website. The possibility of the site being affected by a computer virus cannot be ruled out. However, we will do our best to rectify any errors that are reported to us in the shortest possible time. If due to one of these errors a reservation is made with the wrong price or with the wrong promotion, we reserve the right to cancel the contract without the need to compensate the client.
Similarly, any error on our part in the system of processing the reservation, resulting in erroneous rates that we consider on our part, or for any reason in the management of our system, we can cancel those reservations made by any user, and proceed to the immediate refund of the total amount of the reservation.
14.B - NO SHOW POLICY
Airport pick-up If the user or passenger does not show up without cancellation of the reservation within sixty (60) minutes after the agreed pick-up time at the agreed place of pick-up and it is not possible to communicate with him by means of the telephone number indicated in the reservation, this will be considered as a failure to show up without cancellation and the user is obliged to pay the full price indicated in the service contract.
If the user or passenger needs additional waiting time, he must notify our customer service team, and a 24-hour telephone number is always available. This additional time can generate extra amounts to be paid by the passenger.
Reservation of distances If the user or passenger does not show up without cancellation of the reservation within fifteen (15) minutes after the agreed pick-up time at the place agreed for the pick-up and it is not possible to communicate with him by means of the telephone number indicated in the reservation, this will be considered as a failure to show up without cancellation and the user is obliged to pay the full price indicated in the service contract.
If the user or passenger needs additional waiting time, he must notify our customer service team, and a 24-hour telephone number is always available.
Reservation of hours If the user or passenger does not appear at the agreed pick-up time at the agreed pick-up place and if the reserved hours have elapsed, the user is obliged to pay the full price indicated in the service contract. We will be at the customer's disposal at all times until the reserved hours have elapsed.
DRIVER WAITING TIME
- At the airport: Between 45 and 60 minutes from the time the flight specified in the reservation has landed. From that time on, a surcharge may be levied for waiting time in 30-minute increments.
- At cruise ports: Between 45 and 60 minutes from the time the cruise ship specified in the reservation docks. A waiting time surcharge may be levied on 30-minute segments thereafter.
- At train stations: Between 15 and 20 minutes from the time the train specified in the booking has arrived. From that time on, a waiting time surcharge may be levied in 30-minute increments.
- In private homes: Between 10 and 15 minutes from the time specified in the reservation. From that time on, a surcharge may be levied for waiting time in 30-minute increments.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
We cannot be held liable in the event that performance of our obligations or those of the transport operator is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of an event of force majeure or any circumstance beyond our control including, but not limited to, cases such as extreme weather events, natural disasters, terrorism, accidents of third parties along the route of the transfer, police controls, extraordinary traffic congestion or strikes, or flight cancellations by your airline. In this last case, the passenger will have to claim directly to his flight company, exempting our company from responsibility.
Any contact related to possible changes in the reservation data should be requested via email.
In the event of unavoidable changes to the contract, we will inform you via an email sent to the address provided at the time of booking; sending this email will be considered as proof of receipt by the client. The same applies to any other information mail we send you. For this reason it is of the utmost importance that you ensure that the e-mail address provided is correct and that you check your e-mail inbox until the start of the transfer service.
In case your arrival is delayed or diverted to a different airport, station or port, the Transport Operator will reschedule the Transfer Service and you will be picked up at the new arrival time subject to availability. In the event that there is no availability, you will be refunded in full. As far as these general conditions are concerned, we use the definition that IATA uses for the term "flight delay".
If for any reason you do not show up at the pick-up point within a reasonable time from the time shown on the transfer voucher, the transport operator or our Customer Service will try to contact you via the mobile phone number you have provided.
If this communication is not possible because you have not provided us with a valid number at the time of booking, because you do not have coverage, because you have activated your voicemail or because you have not answered the call, the service will not be provided, the transport operator will be released from its obligation to provide the service and no refund will be given.
17. TRANSPORT SERVICES
We offer a range of services agreed with transport operators. These are private transport services. We cannot guarantee the exact route to the chosen destination and the Google maps route shown on our website is for information purposes only. We make every effort to ensure that pick-up times are scrupulously respected but cannot guarantee them.
In case the driver of your private transfer cannot be reached, it is the responsibility of the client to contact us by calling the 24 hour service phone numbers listed on your booking voucher. If you do not call these numbers and arrange an alternative transport, the service will not be provided, the transport operator will be released from its obligation to provide the service and no refund will be made. If the driver of your private transfer cannot reach you, a member of our Customer Service team will call the mobile phone number provided in the booking. Please ensure that you travel with that mobile phone and that it is switched on while you are waiting for your luggage or at the customs checkpoint. If we cannot reach you on the phone number provided, we will not be able to provide the service and no refund will be given. For non-airport pickups, we must receive your call within ten minutes of your scheduled pickup time. A list of all calls received is recorded and stored by a third party telephone service provider at our Customer Service numbers and will be used as evidence in the event of a dispute over whether calls were made to our contact numbers or not. Unused transfers are not refundable and the costs of an alternative transport will only be refunded if it has been pre-authorized by a member of our team. If you are authorized to take an alternative transport, please make sure you obtain and send us a receipt so that our Quality Department can review it. Transportation costs related to claims not accompanied by valid receipts will not be reimbursed.
It is your responsibility to check the scheduled pick-up time and ensure that you arrive at the airport, station or port in time to check in or make any other preparations for your trip.
The transport operator will pick you up and drop you off as close as possible to the addresses provided. If access via a regular route is closed due to weather conditions, traffic accidents, etc., the transport operator will, at your express request, take an alternative route to reach the agreed destination; in these cases additional costs may be incurred by you.
All contracted transport services are covered by the civil liability policy of the transport operator or the company contracted by it.
Although we endeavour to provide confirmation SMS messages when requested by the customer, this service is dependent on telephone networks that are beyond our control. If a text message does not arrive or arrives late, the customer must abide by the information provided by email.
18. LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE / CAPACITY
The vehicles used for private transfers have a capacity for at least 1 package or suitcase per passenger seat with a maximum combined measurement of 158 cm (length + width + height) per package. At the time of booking you must inform us of the luggage to be transported. It is not necessary to declare smaller luggage that can be placed on the passenger's footrest such as cameras, bags or small backpacks. The passenger will be responsible for any costs incurred in the event that additional vehicles are needed to transport undeclared baggage.
There is no additional charge for travelling with golf clubs or bicycles. However, please ensure that you reserve a vehicle large enough to accommodate all passengers, luggage and golf clubs. Each set of golf clubs should be counted as an additional passenger in the calculation of an appropriate vehicle size. For example, 6 passengers with 6 sets of golf clubs should reserve a 12pax vehicle. If you have any questions, please reserve a larger vehicle.
Your acceptance of the proposed Contract and the Terms and Conditions is considered a tacit agreement in which under no circumstances will you include in your luggage or personal belongings objects that contravene the laws of the country in which the service is provided (firearms, etc.) or those that may be harmful to third parties, or objects of excessive size, weight, expiration or fragility. Unless you travel with a guide dog, animals are not allowed. The transport of luggage and other personal items is at your own risk and in no case will we be liable for any damage or loss. This risk of damage or loss should be covered by the customer taking out insurance before the start of the trip.
19. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
By entering into this contract you implicitly declare that: You are of legal age and in full possession of your mental faculties and are therefore able to assume the legal responsibilities arising from this agreement. You are aware of the scope of the services that are the object of this contract, the information regarding the company and the content of these General Conditions. He also declares that the credit or debit cards he uses are his own and that he has sufficient funds to cover the cost of the service. You understand that you must notify us as soon as possible of any changes to the information you have provided.
The services will be provided in accordance with the information specified in the transfer voucher sent by email. It is your responsibility to provide complete and correct addresses for pickup and destination points at the time of booking. It is also your responsibility to print and check the accuracy of the transfer voucher. If the information contained in the receipt is incorrect, you must contact our Customer Service team immediately to rectify it. During the booking process, please pay special attention to ensure that all mandatory fields, marked with an asterisk (*), have been filled in correctly. We are not responsible for reservations that are impossible to carry out and no refunds will be given for such reservations. You alone are responsible for providing the necessary documentation for the crossing of borders. We assume no responsibility and refuse to incur any additional costs caused by failure to provide such documents or by failure to comply with customs, police, tax or administrative regulations in the countries to which you intend to enter. The proof of transfer is not a valid document to obtain an entry visa.
In the event that the company is forced to pay a deposit or a fine to the authorities of other countries as a consequence of the client not complying with the laws, regulations or other requirements of the countries in which he intends to enter or leave or that he intends to cross, the client will assume all responsibility for reimbursing the company. We reserve the right to withhold any amounts paid to us until the customer proves that he has reimbursed the amount of such fines, charges, etc.
We reserve the right, and you agree to these conditions, to charge your credit or debit card for damage to the vehicle (including a thorough cleaning) or for items that have disappeared from the vehicle.
We reserve the right not to accept any further reservations from a customer who has caused a major incident or repeated incidents.
20. RIGHT OF ADMISSION / CONDUCT OF THE USER
By entering into this contract you tacitly grant the company and the transport operator the right to refuse service to any passenger who, in the driver's opinion, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and to those whose behaviour may be considered dangerous to the driver of the vehicle, to others or to themselves.
It is not permitted to carry alcoholic beverages in the transport operator's vehicles for consumption during the journey. This prohibition also applies to narcotics.
Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle and in its immediate vicinity.
Eating inside the vehicle is not allowed.
If the service you receive from the transport operator does not meet your expectations, you should immediately report it to the Customer Service department and, whenever possible, at the time the incident occurs. Complaints received after the transport service has been completed and which were not notified to us during the course of the transfer may not be accepted as we have not been given the opportunity to assist or intervene in any way. You will find our detailed contact details on the transfer voucher.
Written complaints must be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and reach us no later than 28 days after your return date.

23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights related to the contents published on our website are registered in the name of the company and are protected by national and international legislation governing intellectual property.
The use of the content of our website by a third party for any purpose other than the eventual booking of a transport service is prohibited. This prohibition includes the modification, subsequent publication as well as the reproduction or representation of all or part of such content without the prior and express consent of the company. Any illegal use of our website for any purpose is strictly forbidden.
The entire contents of this website are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights and are the exclusive property of Zonetransfers.com. It is expressly forbidden to use the website and its contents, as well as the databases and software necessary for the display or operation of the same, for commercial purposes, unless there is written consent from Zonetransfers.com.
Prohibited commercial uses include, but are not limited to
The resale or redistribution of the Website, its content and/or service through another website. In particular, "web scraping" techniques to access the contents of the Website.
The use of "deep linking" techniques that generate confusion in the user, such as "framing", and/or imply an improper and illicit use of Zonetransfers.com content.
24. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Conditions shall be governed by current Spanish legislation.
The contract agreed between you and the company will be governed by Spanish law. For any controversy or claim the company and the client, with express resignation to any other jurisdiction, are submitted to the courts of the city of M_u_r_c_i_a.
If any of the stipulations contained in these conditions of use is declared illegal, null and void or inapplicable by a court decision, the rest of the stipulations will remain in full force and effect.
25. DATA PROTECTION
Your privacy is important to us. In this privacy statement we explain what personal data we collect from our users and how we use it. We encourage you to read these terms carefully before providing your personal information on this website.
