Updated:

The route crosses Mallorca towards Manacor before reaching the coast

Sa Coma lies on the eastern shore of the island. From the airport the route crosses Mallorca towards the Llevant and then heads for the coast in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.

The last kilometres separate Sa Coma from Porto Cristo and Cala Millor

The three resorts share the same main road east, but they do not end at the same point: Porto Cristo is to the south, Sa Coma in the middle and Cala Millor further north beyond Punta de n'Amer.

Naming the hotel stops a vague "east coast" booking from turning into the wrong drop-off.

Sa Coma stretches between Punta de n'Amer and S'Illot

The beach and the resort form a long coastal strip. The northern end is marked by Punta de n'Amer, while to the south the built-up area runs into S'Illot.

North

Punta de n'Amer

The protected headland physically separates Sa Coma from Cala Millor. Hotels at this end are closer to the nature area than to S'Illot.

Centre

Sa Coma beach

Over 850 metres of sand, with hotels, apartments and services along the promenade and the avenues behind it.

South

S'Illot

Continues straight on to the south but is a separate resort with its own name and hotels.

Sa Coma and S'Illot can look like one place

Continuous streets do not mean every hotel shares the same access. Always give the full hotel name and address.

Is Sa Coma the same as Cala Millor or S'Illot?

No. They are neighbouring resorts, not interchangeable ones: Punta de n'Amer separates Sa Coma from Cala Millor to the north, and S'Illot carries on to the south.

North

Cala Millor

On the other side of Punta de n'Amer, with its own page for the transfer from PMI.

South

S'Illot

The next resort along the coast, with its own hotels and streets.

Hotels in Sa Coma: north or south changes the drop-off

Accommodation is spread along the beach and several inland avenues. Even in a fairly compact resort, it pays to work with the exact hotel.

Inland

Sant Llorenç des Cardassar

When should the car collect you for your flight?

Count back from your departure time: 3 h for a Spanish or Schengen flight, 3 h 30 min for the UK, Ireland or another non-Schengen country. That is the time Zonetransfers sets for the pick-up in Sa Coma.

The east coast road is busiest on summer Saturdays, when many holiday stays change over; on those days ask for a little extra time.

Questions about the Sa Coma transfer

How long is the transfer from Palma Airport to Sa Coma?

About 50 to 60 minutes for roughly 66–67 km across the island to the east coast.

Are Sa Coma and Cala Millor the same drop-off?

No. Punta de n'Amer separates them: Cala Millor is to the north and Sa Coma to the south of the headland. Give the hotel name to avoid the wrong resort.

Which municipality is Sa Coma in?

Sa Coma belongs to Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, whose inland village is about 15.5 km from the beach; book the resort or hotel, not the village.

Do you provide child seats for the Sa Coma transfer?

Yes. Seats for toddlers and older children are free on request when you book; for a baby seat, contact us by phone or email before travelling.

What happens to my Sa Coma transfer if the flight is delayed?

Nothing changes: the driver follows your flight, and the 60 minutes of free waiting time start from the actual landing, not the scheduled time.
