Since 2021 Nice has been a UNESCO World Heritage site as the 'Winter resort town of the Riviera', and its Promenade des Anglais runs about 7 km from the airport to the Quai des États-Unis. The route from Malpensa runs down to Genoa and along the whole Ligurian coast on the A10 to Ventimiglia, where it crosses into France and continues as the A8 to Nice.
