Villa d'Este was built in 1565–1570 for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, a native of Cernobbio, and has been a hotel since 1873. Every May it hosts the Concorso d'Eleganza, held since 1928. Cernobbio hosts the Ambrosetti Forum in September, the Concorso d'Eleganza in May and many weddings and conferences at Villa Erba. We run individual cars or several vehicles in sequence for delegations.
On Wednesday mornings a market sets up on the lake promenade, so expect more traffic and less space to stop near the ferry pier. The driver plans the drop-off around it.
