Arenys de Mar
This is the seaside destination, known for its fishing port, waterfront and beaches. Select Arenys de Mar if your hotel, apartment or house is on the coast or around the town centre.
Travelling from Barcelona-El Prat Airport to Arenys de Mar means heading north along the Maresme coast. The journey is around 58 km and takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic and your final destination. Before booking, make sure your destination is Arenys de Mar rather than Arenys de Munt, the neighbouring inland municipality. Indicative prices start at €85 for 1–4 passengers and €99 for 5–8 passengers.
Barcelona-El Prat Airport has two separate terminals, T1 and T2, so your meeting point is linked to the terminal used by your flight. The pickup process is designed to keep the arrival straightforward.
The route takes you around Barcelona before continuing north through the Maresme corridor, a chain of coastal towns between the city and Arenys de Mar. The faster road is the C-32, the Maresme Motorway, which is a toll road. The free alternative is the former N-II, which follows the coast more closely but passes through built-up areas and is therefore slower. Your driver selects the appropriate route according to traffic and the time of travel. The transfer price is fixed per vehicle, so there are no unexpected charges on arrival.

Arenys de Mar and Arenys de Munt are separate municipalities. Choosing the correct one matters because the route and price are different.
This is the seaside destination, known for its fishing port, waterfront and beaches. Select Arenys de Mar if your hotel, apartment or house is on the coast or around the town centre.
The neighbouring municipality lies several kilometres inland towards the hills. It has a different access route, so an address in Arenys de Munt should be specified clearly when making the booking.
Arenys de Mar combines a working fishing port with a distinctive cultural heritage. Its fish market holds a daily fish auction, while the town is associated with Salvador Espriu and the Sinera maritime cemetery, as well as the traditional bobbin-lace craft known as puntaires, represented by its museum. A direct transfer can take you straight to the town centre, harbour or your accommodation without routing through neighbouring coastal towns, something particularly useful during the busy summer period.
Arenys de Mar has a direct rail connection with Barcelona on the R1 Rodalies line, with trains reaching Barcelona's Plaça de Catalunya in around 50 minutes and a station close to the town centre. The important point for airport arrivals is that the R1 does not run from Barcelona-El Prat Airport. Travellers using the train therefore need to reach a Barcelona station first and change onto the R1. For light luggage this can be a practical option; a direct private transfer avoids that connection and takes you from the airport to your exact destination, which can be useful when travelling with luggage, as a group, at night or beyond the town centre.
The right vehicle depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have. Families and groups with cases may have more room in a minivan than in a standard car, while larger parties such as wedding groups, teams or Maresme excursions can use a minibus or bus with driver.
Vehicle categories are available in the Zonetransfers fleet. For larger parties, you can also consult minibus and bus hire with driver in Barcelona, providing a single airport meeting point for the group.

Yes. The C-32, known as the Maresme Motorway, is the faster toll-road option. The former N-II provides a free alternative but is slower because it passes through the towns along the coast. The transfer has a fixed vehicle price that includes the route, with no extra charge on arrival.
Not directly. The R1 serves Arenys de Mar and reaches Barcelona's Plaça de Catalunya in around 50 minutes, but the line does not run from the airport. You would first need to travel to a Barcelona station and change to the R1.
Families and groups travelling with luggage can use a minivan, while larger groups can arrange a minibus or bus with driver. Provide the number of passengers and luggage details when booking so the appropriate vehicle category can be considered.
