Minibus for day trips around the province and smaller wedding parties.
Running a Camino tour, a wedding in Castile or a company trip to the Ribera del Duero? Zonetransfers supplies a minibus or coach with a professional driver for groups of 9 to 54, priced as one all-in quote that covers driver, fuel and passenger insurance. Send us your dates and itinerary and the quote reaches you within 12 hours.
Pick by headcount first, then by luggage. Tour groups with full-size suitcases, bike boxes or sports kit usually need one size up from the seat count.
| Group size | Vehicle | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | Standard car (sedan) | Private transfers from Burgos |
| 5–8 | Minivan (people carrier) | Small families, wine-tasting couples, golf groups |
| 9–19 | Minibus | Day tours, wedding guests, executive visits |
| 20–35 | Midi coach | School trips, clubs, mid-size tour groups |
| 36–54 | Full-size coach | Pilgrimages, conferences, sports supporters |
Minibus for day trips around the province and smaller wedding parties.
Full-size coach for up to 54 passengers and their luggage.
Ask for a toilet, wheelchair lift, USB charging or extra hold space when you request a quote and we will confirm which available vehicle has them. See the fleet for models and seating.
Burgos is one of the best-known stops on the Camino Francés, and many organised pilgrim groups start or regroup here. A support vehicle lets the group walk light while the driver handles bags, stragglers and the start and end of the route.
Arrival: group pick-up at the Rosa de Lima station, a hotel in another city or one of the regional airports, and transfer to your Burgos accommodation.
Walking days: luggage moved between albergues and hotels, with the vehicle waiting at the end of each stage on the Meseta (Hornillos, Castrojeriz, Frómista).
Finish: return from León, Sahagún or wherever the walk ends, back to Burgos, Madrid or Bilbao.
Approximate one-way drive times from Burgos city centre to the excursions groups ask for most.
Early-human excavation sites; guided visits run on fixed slots.
Underground cellars in Aranda and the wine museum at Peñafiel castle.
Romanesque cloister and the Benedictine monks’ vespers.
Arcaded village by the Arlanza and the ducal palace town.
Century-old bodegas and the Yuso and Suso monasteries.
Ojo Guareña caves, Frías and the Ebro canyon at Orbaneja.
Eight people or fewer? The same tour works in a minivan, or book a car with driver by the hour in Burgos.
Hotel pick-ups, church to venue, and staggered late-night runs back into town so nobody needs to drive.
Delegates between hotels, the Villalonquéjar industrial estate and the Fórum Evolución congress centre.
Fixed timetables to Atapuerca, the Museum of Human Evolution or a day in Madrid, with the same driver all day.
Away games and tournaments, with hold space for kit bags and equipment.
Every trip is quoted individually because no two itineraries are the same. The quote is fixed: the figure you accept is what you pay, unless you change the plan.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Distance and hours | A half-day Atapuerca visit and a full day in Rioja wine country use very different amounts of driver time |
| Vehicle size and extras | Minibus, midi coach or full-size coach, plus a toilet or wheelchair lift |
| Dates | Wedding Saturdays and the late-June San Pedro festivities book up first |
| Overnight trips | Driver accommodation and meals, or a second driver on long days |
Send headcount, dates, rough timings and stops, and the quote arrives within 12 hours. Nothing is charged until you accept it.
Coach drivers in Spain follow EU rules on driving time and rest, and a realistic itinerary has to allow for them.
After 4 h 30 min at the wheel the driver needs a 45-minute break, and daily driving is generally capped at 9 hours. On long touring days or overnight programmes, the quote already includes those breaks and, where needed, a second driver, so the group is not caught out on the road.
Popular multi-day routes from Burgos include Madrid, Bilbao and the Basque coast, Santander, León, Salamanca, La Rioja and northern Portugal.
Burgos has no scheduled passenger flights, so international groups usually come in through Madrid-Barajas or Bilbao. The minibus or coach meets the whole group at the terminal.
Smaller parties can book a private transfer from Madrid Airport to Burgos.
Smaller parties can book a private transfer from Bilbao Airport to Burgos.
Passenger numbers, dates, timings, pick-up points, stops and any special equipment.
Within 12 hours, with the vehicle assigned and what is included.
Secure card payment when you confirm your booking; driver and vehicle details follow before the service.
Group vehicles can be cancelled free of charge more than 96 hours before the service. Full booking terms are in our terms and conditions.
It depends on the mileage, the hours of service, the size of vehicle, the date and whether the trip runs over one day or several. Each job is therefore quoted on its own, as a fixed all-in price you see before confirming. Send us headcount, dates, timings and stops, and Zonetransfers will reply with a quote within 12 hours.
A professional driver, fuel and compulsory passenger insurance. On multi-day trips the quote also shows how the driver’s accommodation and meals are covered, and whether a second driver is needed to comply with rest rules. Anything extra, such as an added stop or a later finish, is agreed with you in writing before the day.
Yes. A minibus or coach can move luggage between albergues and hotels, pick up anyone who cannot finish a stage and take the group to the start and from the end of the walk. Tell us the planned stages and overnight stops and we will build the driver’s timetable around them, including rest periods.
As early as possible for peak dates: wedding Saturdays, the San Pedro festivities in late June, the end of the school year and the main Camino season in spring and autumn. Outside those periods a few days’ notice is often enough. Group vehicles can be cancelled free of charge more than 96 hours before the service.
Tell us when you request a quote how many wheelchair users are travelling and whether they can transfer to a standard seat. We will check which available vehicle has a lift or ramp and securing points on your dates, and confirm it in writing before you accept. If needed, an adapted vehicle can run alongside a second one for the rest of the group.
Yes. Madrid-Barajas is about 240 km from Burgos, roughly two and a half hours, and Bilbao is about 160 km, around one hour forty minutes. The driver meets the group at the terminal and loads all the luggage. Share the flight numbers when booking so the pick-up time can follow any schedule change.
Payment is made securely by card once you accept the quote. If the trip is for a company, school, club or association, give us the billing details when you ask for the quote and the invoice will be issued in that name. The accepted amount is final unless you change the itinerary.
Share your headcount, dates and itinerary. Zonetransfers sends back a fixed, all-in quote within 12 hours, with the vehicle assigned and everything it covers.
