Ferizaj grew up in the 19th century around the station of the Salonica–Mitrovica railway, and its best-known view is the large mosque and the Orthodox church of St Uroš standing side by side. From Skopje Airport it is about 60 km and 1 h, border crossing included, from €69 per vehicle for up to four.
