Many travellers split their stay between the Riviera and central Athens. Glyfada is closer to the airport than Syntagma and has beaches, golf and nightlife.

  2. 2Summer weekends: allow extra time on Poseidonos.
  3. 3Cape Sounion is about 45 minutes further down the coast.
