Tui is 26 km from Vigo Airport, about 25–30 minutes on the A-55. The transfer costs from €55 per vehicle and drops you at your hotel, by the cathedral or across the bridge in Valença. Tui is the most common starting point of the Portuguese Camino.
Tui is about 26 km south of Vigo Airport, a 25–30 minute drive on the A-55 through O Porriño, with no tolls on the usual route. A Zonetransfers driver collects you in the Peinador arrivals hall and the private transfer costs from €55 per vehicle for one to four passengers.

Tui is the favourite start because it is more than 100 km from Santiago, the minimum for the Compostela; the walk is about 116 km. The usual stages run Tui, O Porriño, Redondela, Pontevedra, Caldas de Reis, Padrón and Santiago.
Rucksacks and poles fit easily in the boot. For a group of pilgrims, book a minivan so everyone and their gear travel together.
