Heathrow is the UK's biggest airport and the main long-haul hub. Many travellers land at Gatwick on a European airline and continue from Heathrow the same day. Heathrow has four terminals in use and they are not all together. Your departure flight number tells us whether you need T2, T3, T4 or T5, and we time the pick-up to reach security with a margin.

The transfer between Gatwick and Heathrow follows the M23 and the M25 orbital west, without entering London. In about an hour the driver drops you at the departures door of your Heathrow terminal.

Short-haul into Gatwick, long-haul out of Heathrow is one of London's classic self-connections. A private car collects you with your bags at the North or South Terminal and drops you at the right Heathrow departures door.
From landing at Gatwick to taking off from Heathrow, leave at least 4 h. Enough for passports, bags, the road and your check-in.
