The C-32 is fast but has a toll: there are no surprises at the end of your transfer
The usual route is the C-32 motorway, the fastest option between El Prat and Sitges. It is a toll road —around €8 for a standard car on this section— and this is one practical difference compared with a metered taxi: for a transfer, the toll is included in the fixed fare shown when you book, with no extra charge when you arrive. The toll-free alternative is the C-31, the coastal road through the Garraf Massif: scenic but slower and winding, so it is not ideal if you are short on time or prone to travel sickness.

During major events, traffic restrictions affect the town centre
Sitges experiences several periods of particularly high visitor numbers and traffic restrictions in the town centre: Carnival (February), one of Spain’s biggest celebrations; Sitges Pride (June); and the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival (October). In the height of summer, parking in the town is also limited and expensive. On these dates, a transfer that takes you close to your destination saves you from driving around looking for a space, but it is worth agreeing the drop-off point in advance, as access to the pedestrianised centre may be restricted and drop-off takes place at the edge of the restricted area.
Where in Sitges: getting to the centre is different from Terramar or Les Botigues
Sitges stretches along the coast, and the exact address determines the final part of the journey. The historic centre and Passeig Marítim, around the church and the town’s urban beaches, have narrow streets and pedestrian areas. Terramar lies to the south-west and is more residential; Aiguadolç is to the east, next to the marina; and Les Botigues de Sitges, at the far eastern end towards Garraf, is separate from the main town. Getting to one area is not the same as getting to another, so providing your hotel or exact address avoids unnecessary detours and helps calculate the journey time accurately.

The bus and train work well if you are travelling light; a private transfer is the better option when luggage, group size, a late-night arrival or an address outside the centre are important, as you are taken directly to your destination rather than a fixed stop.

Does the price include the C-32 toll?
Yes. The transfer is charged at a fixed price per vehicle, which already includes the C-32 toll (around €8 for a standard car). There is no extra charge on arrival, unlike a metered taxi, where the toll is added separately.
Is there a direct bus from the airport to Sitges?
Yes, Monbus operates a direct service between the airport and Sitges, taking around 25 to 45 minutes depending on the stop. It is the most economical option if you are travelling light. A private transfer makes more sense when you have luggage, are travelling as a group or family, arrive at night or your destination is outside the centre, as you are taken directly to your door rather than to a bus stop.
Which terminal will I be picked up from, T1 or T2?
The terminal your flight arrives at. El Prat has two terminals some distance apart, so you provide your terminal when booking and your driver will meet you in that arrivals hall. It is important not to change terminals yourself, as this could disrupt the meeting arrangements.
During Carnival or Pride, will you drop me off in the centre?
You will be dropped off as close to your accommodation as possible, but during these events there are traffic restrictions in the historic centre and pedestrianised areas, so the vehicle may sometimes have to stop at the edge of the restricted zone and you may need to walk the final part of the journey. Providing the exact address helps us arrange the closest possible drop-off point.
Does the Sitges price apply to Terramar, Aiguadolç or Les Botigues?
The reference price is for Sitges; Terramar, Aiguadolç and Les Botigues de Sitges are different areas within the municipality, with the latter being quite separate from the main town. It is best to enter your exact address so the correct route and fare can be calculated.
