Carboneras retains the character of a traditional seaside town on the northern edge of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Life centres around its fishing harbour and a coastline of wide beaches such as Playa de los Muertos, considered one of the Mediterranean's finest thanks to its crystal-clear waters and unspoilt natural surroundings.
San Andrés Castle stands beside the sea, while the island of San Andrés lies just off the coast. It is a destination that combines a traditional seaside atmosphere with the coves and beaches of the natural park, offering a quieter and more authentic alternative to the larger resorts.
Many transfers to Carboneras end at a holiday home or apartment near the beach, or at one of the town's hotels and other accommodation. As the municipality stretches along several areas of coastline, providing the exact address, development or accommodation name allows your driver to drop you right at the door.
Provide the number of passengers, luggage and destination address to receive a fixed fare. You can view the vehicles in the Zonetransfers fleet; for larger groups, see minibus or bus hire with driver in Almería; and for getting around the area, our chauffeur-driven cars in Almería. All services are subject to our terms and conditions.
If your destination on the Almería coast is not Carboneras, these are other routes with private transfers from the airport, each with its own dedicated page.
