Ibiza Airport Transfers: Private Taxi to Your Villa or Hotel

Ibiza Airport · IBZ · Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Land in Ibiza and walk straight to your driver: private transfers to your villa, hotel or the Formentera ferry

In peak season hundreds of flights land in Ibiza every day, and many of them after midnight. With Zonetransfers you skip the wait on arrival: your driver is in the arrivals hall with your name, already has your villa's map pin, and takes your group straight there, whatever time you land.

How do I get from Ibiza Airport to my hotel or villa?

The easiest way from Ibiza Airport to your accommodation is a private transfer booked in advance. Your driver tracks your flight, waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drives your group and luggage directly to your hotel, villa or the port, with no other passengers and no stops. Ibiza is small: Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa are 10–15 minutes away, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia about 30, and the north coast around 45.

Before you fly

Send us the address or map pin

Hotel name, villa location or ferry time, plus how many of you there are and how much luggage.

When you land

Your name on a sign

Ibiza has a single terminal. Come out of baggage reclaim into arrivals on the ground floor and your driver is there.

On the road

Your group, one vehicle

Car, minivan or minibus, so the whole group and the suitcases travel together.

Landing in Ibiza from the UK or Ireland: what to expect

How long it takes from touchdown to the arrivals hall depends mostly on where you fly from. Flights from the UK go through passport control, and non-EU travellers on their first trip under the EU Entry/Exit System may also be asked for fingerprints and a photo:

From the plane to your driver at Ibiza Airport
Flying from Passport control Time to the arrivals hall
Mainland Spain and the Balearics No 10–20 min
Other Schengen countries No 15–25 min
UK, Ireland and other non-Schengen Yes 25–50 min in summer
Private driver meeting passengers in the Ibiza Airport arrivals hall for a transfer to their villa
Free waiting

60 minutes, counted from landing

Your waiting time starts when the plane touches down, not at the scheduled time, so a slow passport queue or a late bag is covered. If your flight is delayed by more than 90 minutes, we confirm the new pick-up with you.

Ibiza Airport to San Antonio, Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza Town and the north

The airport is in the south of the island, next to Ses Salines, so almost every transfer takes under 45 minutes. Road signs use Catalan names (Eivissa, Sant Antoni, Santa Eulària); your driver knows both. Approximate times without traffic:

In July and August the roads into Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa get busy in the evening: allow an extra 10–15 minutes.

Villa with no street address? How your driver finds it

A large share of visitors to Ibiza stay in rented villas in the countryside. This is how we make sure your driver finds yours first time:

  1. Ask the owner for the map pin before you flyMany villas are on unnamed dirt tracks and their official address is a rural plot number. Owners often send the exact location only on arrival day; ask for it in advance.
  2. Send it to us on WhatsAppShare the Google Maps pin with your booking reference. We check whether the track suits the vehicle booked and, for narrow or steep access, choose a smaller car or agree the drop-off point.
  3. Your driver goes to the gateThe location is loaded before your flight lands, so you are not relying on phone signal at the airport. If needed, the driver calls the villa manager on the way.

Ibiza Airport to the Formentera ferry

Formentera has no airport, so you fly into Ibiza and take the ferry from Ibiza Port. We drive you from arrivals to the Formentera ferry terminal in about 15 minutes and drop you by the ticket desks with your luggage.

Ibiza Airport transfer questions answered

How do I get from Ibiza Airport to my hotel?

With a pre-booked private transfer: your driver waits in the Ibiza Airport arrivals hall with your name and takes you straight to your hotel, villa or apartment, in 10 to 45 minutes depending on the area.

How long does it take from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

About 25–30 minutes by private car. Santa Eulalia is also around 30 minutes, and Ibiza Town or Playa d'en Bossa 10–15 minutes.

Where do I meet my driver at Ibiza Airport?

In the arrivals hall on the ground floor of the single terminal, as you come out of baggage reclaim. Your driver holds a sign with your name.

Can you take us to a villa with no exact address?

Yes. Send us the villa's Google Maps pin on WhatsApp; the driver has it loaded, and if the track is narrow we agree the vehicle and drop-off point in advance.

Do you have minibuses for hen or stag groups in Ibiza?

Yes: minivans for 5 to 8 people and minibuses for 9 to 16, so the whole group and the luggage travel together.

Can you take me from Ibiza Airport to the Formentera ferry?

Yes, to the Formentera ferry terminal at Ibiza Port in about 15 minutes. Tell us your sailing time and we plan the pick-up with margin.

What happens if my flight to Ibiza is delayed?

Zonetransfers tracks your flight in real time and the driver works to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting. Delays over 90 minutes are confirmed subject to availability.

Do you run transfers after midnight?

Yes, at any hour. Many summer flights land after midnight and the service works exactly the same, with no night supplement.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, free of charge. Tell us each child's age when booking and we bring the right seat.

What if I can't find my driver at Ibiza Airport?

Stay in the arrivals hall, near the exit from baggage reclaim, and do not leave with anyone who is not holding your name. Call the 24-hour assistance number on your voucher or message us on WhatsApp at +34 654 381 547 and we put you in touch with your driver straight away.

How much luggage can I bring?

Each passenger can bring one suitcase up to 158 cm (length + width + height) plus hand luggage. Golf bags, surfboards, bikes, pushchairs or extra cases travel free if you add them to the booking, so we send a vehicle where everything fits.
