English Entrance 1 or Entrance 2: choosing the correct drop-off point
The national park has two main visitor entrances, plus the smaller Flora access point beside Entrance 2. They are not interchangeable: each is located at a different end of the lake system, and admission tickets are usually issued for a specific entrance. Arriving at the wrong one means extra travel within the park before your visit can begin.

Your ticket time determines your departure time
Admission tickets are normally issued for a specific entry time, particularly during the busiest months of the year. That changes how the transfer is planned: instead of leaving the airport whenever convenient, your pick-up time is calculated backwards from your allocated entry slot, allowing for the two-hour drive and a sensible buffer.
Book your park ticket before arranging your transfer
If you have not yet purchased your admission ticket, it is best to secure your preferred entry time first and then arrange your airport pick-up. If your flight lands on the same day, allow enough time for any delays, baggage reclaim and the two-hour journey to the park.
What to do with your luggage during your visit
The park's walking trails and wooden boardwalks are not designed for visitors carrying suitcases. Both main entrances provide left luggage facilities at the visitor information office, allowing you to store your bags while exploring the park. Using Plitvice as a stop on the way to the coast
Many travellers do not finish their journey at the national park. Instead, they include Plitvice between Zagreb Airport and the Dalmatian coast, as it lies roughly halfway to Zadar and Split. In these cases, the booking is not simply a transfer to Plitvice but a journey with a planned stop, which must be reflected in the reservation so that timings, vehicle allocation and pricing can be calculated correctly.
If your final destination is the coast and Plitvice is just a stop along the way, mention this when requesting your quotation, together with your expected arrival and departure times from the park. Additional stops and waiting time are subject to the service terms and conditions.
The right vehicle for a two-hour journey
For a short urban transfer, the choice of vehicle makes little difference. On a two-hour journey combining motorway and main roads, legroom and luggage capacity become much more important. Travellers arriving with holiday luggage and continuing on to the coast afterwards need enough space for the entire journey, not just the first leg.
