Fusina sits at the mouth of the Brenta canal, opposite Giudecca: the ACTV line 16 boat leaves from its terminal for the Zattere, and cruise ships have berthed here since big ships left the city centre. Fusina is about 22 km from Venice Marco Polo, usually 25–30 min door to door. From the airport the route crosses Mestre on the ring road and follows the Via Romea to Malcontenta and the terminal; the car drops you by the ferry ticket office or at your cruise berth. Fusina has a large guarded car park and the jetty for line 16 to the Zattere. If you arrive by cruise or ferry, the transfer collects or drops you by the terminal building.
