From 1 November to 31 March, Savoie, Haute-Savoie and parts of Isère require winter tyres or chains; our vehicles are equipped. On school-holiday Saturdays the A43 between Lyon and Chambéry is often at a standstill between 9:00 and 14:00 going up: an early pick-up or another day saves hours.
In the Terminal 1 arrivals hall, with a sign showing your name. Since April 2026 all flights operate from Terminal 1 while Terminal 2 is closed for works. Next door, linked by a footbridge, is Santiago Calatrava's Lyon-Saint-Exupéry railway station.

Each suitcase can measure up to 158 cm adding length, width and height. Skis, snowboards, bikes and golf bags travel free but take up seat space, so list them when booking: with several sets of skis, a minivan is usually the right choice.
