The university area of Leioa-Erandio is located at Barrio Sarriena s/n, 48940 Leioa. The site includes the Rectorate, University Library, teaching buildings and numerous faculties.
Sarriena is a separate destination within Leioa
The EHU campus and the nearby metro stations are distinct locations. If you are travelling for university registration, an examination, conference or visit, provide the building or faculty when you know it so that the transfer can be arranged for the appropriate part of the campus.

METRO & PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Leioa Metro station is not the same destination as the university campus
There is no direct rail connection from BIO to Leioa. Current bus-and-metro combinations take approximately 40–55 minutes, depending on the route, while the road journey to the municipality is around 15 minutes. If you are heading to Sarriena, the final connection between the public transport network and the campus must also be taken into account.
Particularly useful when travelling with luggage or for a university appointment
If you need to arrive in time for an examination, meeting or event on campus, book the transfer to the relevant university building or area rather than treating “Leioa Metro” as an equivalent destination.
