Ficoba, the Gipuzkoa Exhibition Centre, is located at Avenida de Iparralde 43, 20302 Irun. The venue has parking and is positioned away from the city's main commercial centre, so a business transfer to Ficoba can finish directly at the exhibition centre.

Ficoba also has a nearby rail connection towards Hendaye

Irun Ficoba station is part of the Euskotren corridor to Hendaye. This can be useful when Ficoba is one stage of a wider journey continuing by public transport.

In January 2026, Irun Local Police documented simultaneous disruption on AP-8, N-121-A, GI-636 and Behobia following a gathering at the Biriatu border toll. This is not a permanent condition, but it illustrates why journeys continuing into France can have different traffic considerations from a transfer ending in central Irun.

There is no direct bus connection from BIO to Irun

Current public transport options require at least one connection. Journey planners consulted put one public transport combination at around 2 h 19 min, while a bus alternative travelling via Bilbao can take close to 3 h 25 min. The choice becomes particularly relevant when the final destination is Ficoba, Behobia or a subsequent connection into France.
