Villajoyosa

El Campello is one of the closest destinations to the airport: a traditional seaside town on the doorstep of Alicante, with its fishing harbour, famous fish auction and kilometres of beaches. Your taxi or private transfer picks you up at Arrivals and takes you directly to your hotel or apartment, with a fixed fare and 24-hour pick-up.
Just a few kilometres north of Alicante city, El Campello retains the character of a traditional fishing town: boats in the harbour, the fish market where freshly landed fish is auctioned each afternoon, and a long promenade beside the beach. It is a quieter, more local destination than the larger resorts, popular with families and those looking for a beach without the crowds, while remaining close to the city.
Next to the harbour stands the Illeta Tower and the archaeological site of Illeta dels Banyets, with its Roman pools carved into the rock, giving the town a character of its own.
