About 75 km (47 miles) to the frontier at La Línea de la Concepción, just under an hour on the AP-7 and A-7 via Estepona and Manilva. It is the route English-speaking visitors search for most from Marbella. Queueing time at the border is extra, and most people walk across.
As a rule the car drops you on the Spanish side of the frontier and you walk across in a few minutes with a valid passport or EU identity card. If you need the vehicle to enter the Rock, say so when you ask for a quote.

Seville is about 205 km (127 miles) via Ronda and Utrera, around 2 hours 20 minutes on mountain and country roads, or about 255 km (158 miles) on motorways via Antequera in a similar time. The driver picks the route on the day, depending on traffic and whether anyone gets carsick.

Ronda is an hour away on the A-397, the scenic road that climbs from San Pedro de Alcántara through the Sierra Bermeja. Granada and Córdoba are just over two hours inland via the AP-7 and the A-45.

About an hour for roughly 60 km (37 miles) on the A-397, which climbs from San Pedro de Alcántara through the Sierra Bermeja with wide bends and viewpoints. The driver drops you by the Puente Nuevo, at the Parador or at your hotel. If anyone feels carsick, tell us and we will stop at the Puerto del Madroño viewpoint.
