A short stop of up to 30 minutes does not change the price if you mention it when booking. For a longer visit, we quote the transfer with waiting time.
Bulgaria and Greece are both in the Schengen area, so there are no fixed checks on the way to Thessaloniki, although every traveller must carry a valid ID card or passport. North Macedonia and Serbia are outside the European Union: border officers check the documents of everyone in the car.
Children travelling without their parents need a signed consent letter. If you hold a non-EU passport, check the entry rules for each country before you travel. Waiting times at the crossings into North Macedonia and Serbia vary with the day and hour, and never change the fixed price of the transfer.

Sofia airport is 9 km from the city centre, around 14 minutes away. Most skiers fly in and head straight to Bansko or Borovets: those trips are booked in our airport section, where the driver checks your actual landing time and meets you in arrivals holding a name sign.

An hour and 50 minutes for 118 km on the A3 and the Rilska valley road. It is the most popular outing from Sofia: the driver drops you next to the monastery entrance and, if you book the return in the same car, waits during your visit. Many travellers add a stop at Boyana Church on the edge of the city.
It is 145 km on the Trakia motorway (A1), around an hour and 45 minutes without stops. With a private transfer you travel in one car from your hotel in Sofia to your address in Plovdiv, with the price fixed at booking even if traffic is heavy leaving the city. Bulgaria has adopted the euro as its official currency, like Greece, and for trips to North Macedonia or Serbia the payment is already settled before you leave.
