Roman aqueduct of Segovia: The aqueduct of Segovia is a work of the Romans. It was built to bring water to the city. It is not clear from which period it is, if it is from the 1st century with the Flavios or from the time of Trajan. It has 167 granite stone arches and what makes it even more grandiose, is that it does not have any kind of mortar to join it, it "simply" remains standing after so many centuries because of the "balance of forces", the work of the ingenuity of the engineers of the time.
Calle Real and Casa de los Picos: Calle Real is the most commercial street to see in Segovia and it takes you straight to the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral, passing by the Old Main Synagogue first. It changes its name on some occasions (Cervantes, Juan Bravo, Plazuela del Corpus and Isabel la Católica).

The Casa de los Picos is currently the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts. It is from the 16th century and it is believed that it was built to defend the city, although it is also said that it belonged to a Jew or the city's executioner.

Plaza Mayor and Cathedral of Segovia: The Plaza Mayor is the heart of Segovia, here we find the City Hall, the new Church of San Miguel, since the previous one was located in the center of the square and suffered a collapse and was moved to one of its sides.
In the Plaza Mayor we can also see the Cathedral of Segovia, and a few bars and restaurants where tourists and locals meet for an aperitif.
The Cathedral of Segovia is of late Gothic style, construction began in 1525. The main façade is known as Puerta del Perdón and the bell tower is where the bell ringer lived until the 20th century.
Jewish Quarter of Segovia: The Jewish quarter of Segovia is located in what is now the commercial area. At one time there were 5 synagogues, but today only the former Main Synagogue, which is now the convent of Corpus Christi, remains.
In the Jewish quarter there is a didactic center whose objective is to show, teach and divulge to the visitors the history of the Jews of Segovia. It is very interesting and general entrance only costs 2 Euros and is free on Thursdays.
Alcazar de Segovia: The Alcazar de Segovia looks like a fairytale castle on top of a hill. Before you get there you will find some green and very well cared for gardens. On the right you have great views and you can see the Vera Cruz Church and Zamarramala. At the end of the gardens you reach the Alcazar, where you can see the moat with a drawbridge.
