Right in the Mijas mountain area, 45 minutes away from Málaga, you'll find one of the most beautiful white towns in the area. You'll be able to see as much of Mijas as you want, with a car and driver at your disposal for the time you choose.
Most of the things you'll see in Mijas will probably be interesting. It's a town that calls your eye as soon as you see it, with its white houses and colorful flowers. You'll see the Virgen de la Peña Chapel and Constitution square, the Bullring and the remainings of the arabian walls.
Around midday, if you're lucky and the weather helps, you could see a flamenco show at the main square. You can also take some time to ride a 'donkey taxi', a sort of transportation very unique to the town.
Mijas is all about soups. You could eat salmorejo, maimones, cachorreñas de ajos and gazpachuelo, and after the main course, maybe try buñuelos and hornazos, which remain as legacy from the arabian culture.
